Ukrainian NDB news

NDB "ZK" of the Ihor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport on 733 kHz has changed format of its identification in May-June 2019 to the following one:

IDx2 + 0.8" gap + 2.8" tone + 1.1" gap

Also one of the Ukrainian non-civil airports now has a new NDB on absolutely new frequency which has never been used before by this airport. The beacon is regularly active, but I can't give any concrete information on it, because our enemies in russia could use this data for their own purposes.

eQSLs from Radio Piraña Internacional

 Two nice eQSLs from Radio Piraña Internacional for reception of RPI low-power CW beacon on 6342 kHz. The first one is for tests with 10 W of output power and the second one is for reception of 1 W transmitter signal. Thanks so much, Jorge!

Another 1 W pirate beacon on 48 mb

 Free radio station Radio Piraña Internacional runs amateur CW beacon on the frequency of 6342 kHz from one of the secret locations in Europe. Now the morse beacon operates 24 hours a day with a nominal output power of only 1 W. Current status of the transmissions can be checked on the official web site of RPI.

The signal of 1 W TX propagates to Kyiv too, but sometimes suffers from various utility stations QRM. This audio clip has been recorded on the 4^th of April 2019 in park with a pocket receiver and telescopic whip antenna:
