Amhara State Regional Radio on 801 kHz

This evening good medium wave propagation from Ethiopia has brought quite rare (despite of the TX output power) signal of Amhara State Regional Radio here.

The station is broadcasting on 801 kHz via 100 kW MW transmitter located in Zege, near Lake Tana, in the north-western Ethiopian Highlands, as well as on short wave frequency of 6090 kHz via Gedja Jewe tentatively.

Luckily, there ara no other strong interfering signals on 801 kHz in Kyiv, so reception was pretty clear and stable. Here you can hear some listener's or reporter's phone-in and conversation on the first audio clip and song Lalkedash Kal Alebign by Ethiopian pop singer Neway Debebe on the second one.
