Thanks to Charlie Loudenboomer for this fantastic QSL and postcards
dedicated to Boston and Massachusetts! The real paper A4 format
QSL-certificate (despite of the “e-QSL” stated on it) was received by
airmail for reception of PRB 25th Anniversary and Farewell
transmission. This time I heard PRB show via European relay, however I
also have a great QSL for direct reception of transmission from the USA
facility on 13 meter band in year 2012.
Pirate Radio Boston has left radio
waves, and I think it is very big loss for all the pirate scene, not
only American but also European one. Thank you very much Charlie for the
great shows and best regards to you!

Following our first (and successful) Summer evening broadcast which took place late July, FRS-Holland plans a second one next Sunday August 27th 17:00- 21:00 UTC/ 19:00- 23:00 CEST. Frequecies will be 7700//6284 kHz*. At this more or less special occasion FRS will go full speed with fresh thematic programmes
including all presenters. An evening full of great music related to
specific themes and of course with the ‘usual’ links to the subject of

Radio Mi Amigo Int’l very special live broadcast
Radio Mi Amigo International presents a
very special live broadcast remembering those days ‘the music almost
died’. We remember Aug. 1967 (UK) and Aug. 1974 (Netherland) when the
MOA (‘Anti-Pirate-Law’) became law in those countries and stopped most
of the offshore stations. We remember with the songs from that time and
some original recordings.
The show will be aired on August, 27 from 19 – 21 hr CET (17 – 19 hr
UTC) on 11845 kHz in the 25m SW-band with 100 kw of power all over
Europe and also online on our webstreams.

be transmit from Finland.

will be verified via Special Printed QSLs for those who will
partisipate meeting in Tampere 18-20th August 2017. (QSLs will be left

FRS on air Sunday August 6th
Our first Summer evening broadcast took place last Sunday July
30th from 19:52- 23:00 CEST. FRS was active on 7700//6284 kHz. 48
metres ran on reduced power. All in all we are not unhappy with the
results. From time to time 6284 suffered from an annoying digital signal
on 6290. 7700 did very well but particularly during the first part of
the broadcast there was much static and crackling in the atmosphere. So
far e-mail reports came in from all over Europe. We have decided to repeat the complete broadcast next Sunday August 6th at the same time slot: 19:52- 23:00 CEST. Frequencies
will be 7700// 48 mb (yet unknown which frequency). For next Sunday the
schedule remains the same, see below. Remember there will be a number
of Internet streams this week (august 3rd, 5th & 6th). For details
see below.FRS will be back with fresh programmes (including all presenters) on the final August Sunday, the 27th. More details will follow in a few weeks!
